Anthony Varesi is one of Kamloops’s most established criminal lawyers. He is an agent for the Public Prosecution Service of Canada and has successfully prosecuted hundreds of cases. He has appeared at all levels of court in the country.
Anthony grew up in Williams Lake and studied law at the University of Saskatchewan. Early in his studies, Anthony’s passion for the justice system and for trial work emerged, and today he practices criminal law exclusively.
Anthony was called to the bar in 1999 and has worked with Gillespie since 2002. Now a partner at the firm, Anthony is a past president of the Kamloops Bar Association and has served on the executive board of the Kamloops Italian Society.
Anthony is also a lauded author of a book about Bob Dylan, and he enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and son or on the golf course.
