Ben was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon where he developed his sense of adventure. He travelled to Nova Scotia to attend St. Francis Xavier University and obtained a double major in political science and philosophy. Prior to attending law school he worked at his other great interest, carpentry and woodworking. When he is not in his garage covered in sawdust, he is spending time with his wife and daughter. Ben is the past Vice President of the Kamloops Bar Association, two-time chair of the Kamloops Law Day, and he and his wife are active in animal rescue and fostering. Ben practices civil litigation with a focus on Supreme Court personal injury and insurance law.
