After graduating from UVic Law in 1987, Steve moved to Kamloops and started with our firm. He had the good fortune to work closely with Dave Gillespie: “the best mentor a lawyer could have”.
Steve has become one of Kamloops’ most respected land development lawyers – helping clients bring to life hundreds of important and innovative development projects. He thrives on being a part of the team of professionals that makes his clients’ success a reality.
By his early teens, Steve knew he was going to be a lawyer, following in the footsteps of family members he admired. He feels fortunate to have spent his career at a firm which he describes as having “the absolute best clients in B.C.”. He is proud of the projects he has been involved with and the positive opportunities those projects provide to the communities that are the beneficiaries of a wide range of land development.
Steve has been active in volunteer work in the Kamloops area since his arrival thirty years ago. This has included various director positions with not for profit societies such as the Boys and Girls Club, support for the Kamloops Food Bank and, most recently, working with the local chapter of the Canadian Home Builders Association to help with its annual training house (Y Dream Home).
