Alicia and her family are long-time residents of Kamloops, and are proud to be part of a community that values integrity, honesty, and hard work.

Alicia graduated from Bond University Law in Australia and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2014.  Alicia joined Gillespie in 2019 from another leading law firm in Kamloops where she conducted a successful family law, administrative law, and general litigation practice. Alicia is part of our litigation team and has added personal injury defense litigation to her portfolio.

Alicia is passionate about helping others and is motivated by solving people’s legal problems in a timely fashion. She understands that litigation can be highly emotional, overwhelming, and costly and she prides herself on obtaining excellent results as efficiently as possible.  Alicia is known for her strong work ethic, her compassion towards her client’s issues, and her ability to listen and then to explain the process to her clients so that they feel confident and secure.  She has traveled around the world, studied abroad, and has obtained significant work experience in a variety of environments making her well equipped to deal with complex problems in creative ways.

Outside of her practice, Alicia enjoys having a strong presence in her community.  She is a member of Kamloops Rotary Daybreak, a director of the Kamloops Chamber of Commerce, a director of the TRU Legal Clinic, and the Past President of the Kamloops Bar Association.  She also loves animals and has volunteered at the SPCA in both Kamloops and Victoria.  Alicia is an avid runner, loves hiking the hills in Kamloops, and enjoys spending as much time as possible with her husband and two children.  You may also find her frequenting locally owned restaurants and shops in her pursuit of supporting local businesses.

Alicia is a firm believer that anything is possible through hard work, creativity, and passion and she applies this approach to everything she does.  Her clients will know that they are being represented by a fearless advocate who is always willing to go the extra mile for their cause.  Alicia welcomes the opportunity to make a significant impact in your life.
